WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY – 2021

Mother Nature is our greatest healer. Nature soothes our mind and heals our wounds. With this thought in mind, the pupils of Chistiya International School portrayed great awareness to preserve and conserve our Mother Nature.

To begin with, the Preprimary kids were asked to paint their minds on the topic ‘You and your environment’. The kids beautifully displayed their thoughts towards Nature by adding colors to it.

Slogans show less but speak more. Students of Grades 1, 2 & 3 were asked to create slogans on the eve of Environment Day. This helped the students to brainstorm their minds and create effective slogans which would help them develop the art of speaking more in a few words.

Let the picture speak was the thought behind the poster making event for Grades 4 & 5. Whereas slogans speak more in a few words, posters help the child create a single picture with multiple thoughts. Through a single picture the students painted their respect towards Mother Nature.

‘Ecosystem Restoration’ was the main theme of discussion for the students of Grades 6, 7, 8 & 9. The students actively participated in the event through debate. speech and essay writing. This helped the students also brainstorm their minds and speak about Organic Farming, Conventional Farming and Renewable Resources. View Gallery
