71st Independence Day Celebration

The 71st Independence day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect by the students and staff members of Chistiya International School on 15 August, 2017. Sri Ar. H. C. Thimmaiah, Rajyotsav award winner, Ex-Chairman (SAARC & IIA) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by our Director, G. V. Satish Reddy.
The celebration commenced with the Flag hoisting ceremony and the rendition of the National Anthem. Ms G. S. Sushmitha speaking on behalf of our Chairman Mrs. Nalina Satish Reddy, she voiced the proud feelings for the country and commented on the respectable image Indians hold across the globe. The Chief Guest talked about how our leaders struggled to make our country what it is today.
The students of the pre-primary and primary presented an exquisite cultural program. The students participated in this wide range of events with lot of zeal and excitement and their performances were widely commended. The celebrations ended with renewed feelings of patriotism and nationalism amongst the audience gathered.
